How to use it
- 1Never add letter-spacing to cursive fonts: it breaks the joins between the letters.
- 2Cursive is tiring in long passages. Use it for names, headings and short notes, and pair it with a simple sans serif for body text.
- 3Avoid setting cursive in all capitals; script capitals are designed to lead into lowercase letters.
- 4Check the letters you use most, such as ş, ğ and the dotless ı in Turkish, because some scripts connect them less smoothly.
Type a sentence to compare them side by side. Connected letters are sensitive to spacing, so look at whole words rather than single letters before you choose.
